Bokamoso Youth Centre offers a variety of skill-development trainings to young people from formerly underprivileged backgrounds to help them become self-sufficient. Our mission has always been to support the social and economic growth of the underprivileged residents of Greater Alexandra and the neighboring areas. In our opinion, giving young people the tools they need to succeed economically while also attending to their social needs will help them develop into independent adults who live sustainably.
What is the purpose of this programme?
This project is developed as a skills development initiative to promote high level skills needed for further growth and is intended to facilitate and promote Traffic Safety knowledge in order to change the behavior and attitude of young people on the road and to instil a culture of safe traffic participation.
The purpose of this initiative is to teach these young people the K53 system of vehicle control’s road rules, discuss issues with road usage and avoidable deaths on our roads, and help them form the right attitudes toward using the road environment while using the roads to help them participate economically.
It is expected that those who enroll in this program will be prepared to use their newfound knowledge and take up space in order to work as TAXI, UBER, or BOLT drivers in the transportation and logistics sector.
